In the latest episode of the television game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) Season 16, Abhishek Bachchan humorously revealed that he’s a far better driver than his legendary father. Abhishek, along with filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, appeared as a guest on the show, where Shoojit stirred up some playful family drama by asking the Bachchans who was the better driver among them. A clip of their hilarious conversation has gone viral on social media, captivating fans everywhere.

When Shoojit posed the question, “Who is the better Bachchan (on the road)?” Amitabh quickly raised his hand like an eager student, claiming the title. But Abhishek wasted no time in interjecting, urging his father not to stretch the truth. “Paa, please!” he exclaimed, prompting Big B to sheepishly lower his hand. Abhishek quipped, “You taught me how to drive, but I am much better,” sending the audience into fits of laughter. He also revealed that Amitabh seems to enjoy taunting other drivers more than actually driving.

“Koi galat raste pe aa gaye, phone nikalke unka photo lenge. Mein poocho, ‘photo kyu leh rahe aap?’ He will say, ‘Traffic police ko bhejunga ki yeh light todke nikal raha hai.’ Aur woh (the person whose photo is being clicked) soch raha hai, ‘arey Amitabh Bachchan toh mera selfie le raha hai.’ (If someone is coming from the wrong direction, he takes out his phone and clicks a photo. When I ask, ‘Why are you taking the photo?’ He will say, ‘I will send it to the traffic police saying he jumped the signal.’ Meanwhile, the person whose photo is being clicked is thinking, ‘Wow Amitabh Bachchan is taking my selfie), ” Abhishek said, leaving everyone, including Big B and Shoojit, in stitches.

Abhishek and Shoojit are currently busy promoting their upcoming family drama I Want to Talk, which releases this Friday. The film marks Abhishek’s first collaboration with Shoojit Sircar, one of Bollywood’s most respected contemporary directors. Shoojit’s previous works, including his critically acclaimed films Piku (2015) and Gulabo Sitabo (2020), both featuring Amitabh Bachchan, have been celebrated widely. Amitabh secured his record-breaking fourth National Film Award for Best Actor for his role in Piku.
