Rajinikanth visits former Lyca Productions creative head Raju Mahalingam’s home: ‘God has blessed me with his presence’

Raju Mahalingam, former creative head of Lyca Productions, welcomed superstar Rajinikanth to his new home. The duo had previously collaborated on the 2018 blockbuster film 2.0.

Raju Mahalingam, former creative head of Lyca Productions, recently had a joyous moment as he welcomed superstar Rajinikanth to his new home. Mahalingam shared his excitement on social media, posting pictures of Rajinikanth spending time with his family and exploring the house.

In the photos, Rajinikanth is seen in a white shirt and veshti, posing with Mahalingam and his family. They are also seen sharing light-hearted moments together. Expressing his delight about the superstar’s visit to his house, he wrote, “I Invited him for my house warming, he promised to come someday, Millions are longing to have a glimpse of him, GOD has blessed me with his presence and wishes, No words to express my feelings…….Thanks Thalaiva 🙏🙏🙏.”


During his time at Lyca Productions, Raju Mahalingam closely collaborated with Rajinikanth on the blockbuster film 2.0, released in 2018. Later, Mahalingam left Lyca Productions to join Rajinikanth in his political journey, although the superstar eventually stepped away from politics in 2020.

Reflecting on his time with Rajinikanth, Mahalingam expressed admiration for the actor’s personality and humility, considering him a vital figure in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape. Speaking to indianexpress.com, he had said, “I have worked with Rajinikanth sir for the last three years and I was blown away by his personality and simplicity. I think he is the need of the hour for the state and the political arena.”

On the work front, Rajinikanth is currently working on filmmaker TJ Gnanavel’s upcoming film Vettaiyan. The film is bankrolled by Lyca Productions. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles.
