After Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, another actor was recently seen travelling in economy class to Goa — and it was none other than superstar Rajinikanth. Videos of Rajinikanth greeting fans and fellow passengers while flying economy have gone viral on social media. Reports suggest that the actor was travelling to Goa for his film Jailer 2’s shoot.
The viral videos show Rajinikanth sitting in the front aisle as fans cheer for him. Soon, he gets up from his seat, turns around, and greets the passengers, who are seen shouting his name and capturing his gestures on their phones. The video also shows the superstar seated in an economy-class seat rather than business class, right at the front of the flight.
A fan praised Rajinikanth for acknowledging his admirers and wrote, “A smile and gesture bring happiness to many ❤️.” Another one commented, “Rajinikanth in an economy seat — yet the aura around him feels first class. 🌟🔥 #Thalaivar.” One more user added, “What’s more than starting your day with Thalaivar’s dharisanam 🌟.”
Interestingly, several Bollywood stars have also been spotted travelling in economy class lately. Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal were seen flying together in economy to Jaipur, Rajasthan, as they were shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming film Love And War with Alia Bhatt. Similarly, in September, videos of Varun Dhawan clicking selfies with fans while flying economy had also gone viral.
As for Rajinikanth, he is currently busy shooting for Nelson Dilipkumar’s Jailer 2, in which he will reprise his role as ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian. The superstar also has a much-anticipated film with Kamal Haasan in the pipeline.
