Superstar Rajinikanth has been granted the golden visa by UAE’s Department of Culture and Tourism. The veteran actor expressed his gratitude to the Abu Dhabi government and his friend, MA Yusuff Ali, chairman and managing director of Lulu Group, for their support in securing the visa.
‘Thalaivar’ also shared a video, thanking the Abu Dhabi government and Yusuff Ali for facilitating the process and providing exceptional hospitality. “I am deeply honoured to receive the prestigious UAE Golden visa from Abu Dhabi Govt. My heartfelt thanks to the Abu Dhabi government, and also to my good friend Mr Yusuff Ali, CMD of Lulu Group, for facilitating this visa and for all the support,” he said.
Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, a member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and chairman of the Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT), presented the golden visa to Rajinikanth in the presence of MA Yusuff Ali. The esteemed accolade highlights Rajinikanth’s enduring contributions to the world of cinema and his significant influence in the industry.
During his visit to Abu Dhabi, Rajinikanth spent quality time with Yusuff Ali and top executives of the Lulu Group, offering a glimpse into the enduring friendship between the actor and the business magnate. The duo were spotted engaging in friendly banter at Yusuff’s residence, with Rajinikanth even taking a joyous ride in Yusuff’s luxurious Rolls Royce.
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to social media platform X to share a picture of Rajinikanth receiving his golden visa, stating, “UAE Culture and Tourism Department grants #GoldenVisa to #Superstar.”
Rajinikanth’s fans are now looking forward to his upcoming projects, including the highly-anticipated film Vettaiyan, set to release in October, which also features Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Rana Daggubati. Additionally, he will star in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, a film that has garnered attention for its announcement teaser.
