Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam: Dhanush unveils motion poster of his third directorial venture

Dhanush is directing his third directorial venture, which is titled Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam. The name of the film is inspired by a classic song from Policekaran Magal (1962).

On Friday, Dhanush took to X to announce his third directorial venture with a concept poster and the release date of the film. Now, the actor-director has unveiled the title and the cast of the film. The romantic drama is called Nilavukku Enmel Ennadi Kobam (Why is the Moon angry with me?). The name is inspired by a classic Tamil song from Policekaran Magal (1962). Sung by PB Sreenivas, the song is one of his best in a decorated discography.

Apart from the title, Dhanush has also unveiled two posters and one motion poster of the film. The motion poster also features a remix of the classic number, sung by Dhanush.

The motion poster has Dhanush saying, “What is love? Is it everything that comes and leaves?” And he answers his own question, “It is everything that comes and leaves.” “#DD3 is Nilavukku enmel ennadi kobam .. A usual love story,” wrote Dhanush sharing the promos.

It is unknown if Dhanush is part of the star cast, which has Anikha Surrender of Yennai Arindhaal fame, Mathew Thomas, who was last seen in Vijay’s Leo, the ‘Wink girl’ Priya Prakash Varrier. Pavish, Ramya, and Vekny are other actors in the rom-com.

GV Prakash Kumar is composing music for the film, while Leon Britto will be handling the camera. The film is produced by Wunderbar Films, which was founded by Dhanush and his estranged wife Aishwarya. This is the first project of Wunderbar Films since the separation of the two.

Meanwhile, Dhanush will next be seen in Arun Matheshwaran’s Captain Miller, which will be released on Pongal 2024. Dhanush is also directing another project titled #D50, which is produced by Sun Pictures.
