Siddhartha Nuni is currently a much sought-after cinematographer in Tami cinema. A student of director-cinematographer Rajiv Menon, Siddhartha is known for his films Lucia, U-Turn, and Brahman Naman. He made his Tamil debut with Gautham Menon’s Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, and he instantly became a favourite among Tamil directors. While his next Tamil film Captain Miller is all set to be released on January 12, he is currently busy with Vijay’s next film The Greatest of All Time. Siddhartha recently revealed that Vijay saw the trailer of Dhanush’s next and was impressed by it.
When asked about the actor’s reaction, Siddhartha told Cinema Vikatan, “Everybody (on the sets of GOAT) is hyped. I was a bit nervous. Even Vijay Sir has watched it and said he really liked it and said that he is very happy about it. He is rooting for the film. We will know in a week.” Adding more about shooting with Vijay, he said, “It’s very hectic, actually. It has been three months. I think we started shooting in October, and I have been having a great time. I am a huge fan of Venkat Prabhu’s Saroja, and it is a pleasant surprise I am working with him now. Of course, it is Vijay sir’s film. He is such a lovely person.”
Meanwhile, the synopsis of Captain Miller is making the rounds of social media. The gist of the film’s plot from a ticket booking portal abroad described it as a story about a militant’s fight against British forces after witnessing their atrocities. On the other hand, Bookmyshow describes the film as: “A Captain along with his unconventional outlaws execute daring heists until one day he must decide whether to continue running or confront the challenges.”
The film also has Priyanka Mohan, Shivarajkumar, Sandeep Kishan, Elango Kumaravel, and Aditi Balan in important roles. GV Prakash Kumar has composed the music for the movie.
