Tamil actor Vishal’s birthday routine is planned. Every year, the actor visits old-age homes, orphanage, and government hospitals and this year it’s going to be no different. While he has a list of blockbusters to his credit, the actor stays focused when it comes to goals for the coming year. ‘Keep working’ is his philosophy.
Interestingly, Vishal does something special for babies who are born on his birthday. Every year, the actor visits two government hospitals in Chennai and gifts gold rings to the babies born on that day i.e. August 29.
Birthday Plans
The actor, who was last seen in Laththi, further breaks down the schedule of his birthday. “We start the day at an old age home and we have been doing this for a long time. I serve food there. Then we head on to the orphanage in the city to be with kids.” The actor also shares that his fan clubs pick one social cause on his birthday and independently carry it out.
The actor has been working hard for his upcoming film Mark Antony, which is set to release in September. He sounds excited as he shares how the film has been shot in a non-linear way and the time travel tale will see him play a double role for the first time in his 19-year career.
So, with exciting projects around him, what is the goal for the next year for the Enemy actor?
“Let the ball keep rolling and let the work keep going on,” he shares with excitement in his voice. Giving a lowdown of his upcoming films, Vishal is excited to team up with filmmaker Hari for the third time. He has worked with the director earlier in 2007 film Thaamirabharani and later in 2014 film Poojai.
Excited for upcoming projects
“I am doing a film with Hari sir which is my third collaboration with him. Its nice to be working with him. Next is my directorial debut Thupparivaalan 2, which is my dream come true in 25 years. I know that these two would have happened so I have put my heart and soul in it,” says the actor, whose song Tum Tum from the film Enemy became a social media sensation recently.
The actor doesn’t believe in planning things in advance and likes to follow the nature course of his destiny and hard work. He says, “After that I will take one thing at a time, I don’t set goals.”
On his visit to Kerala
The actor had suffered a major accident during the shoot of Latthi in 2022 and was taken to Kerala for treatment. Part of his goal is to go back there and spend time with the people at the facility that healed him.
“So my goal is to surrender myself for 21 days to those people whenever I get a chance. It’s very important for an actor to detox and get your body back and hit the shooting schedule,” says Vishal.
The actor also added that going back to the same facility helps him declutter his mind, change his lifestyle.
