Two years since his last release, Ajith Kumar is set to return to the silver screen with Magizh Thirumeni’s Vidaamuyarchi, which is pegged for a Pongal 2025 release. Meanwhile, there were many speculations that Vidaamuyarchi might get delayed due to various reasons, including the dubbing not being completed for the film. However, in what has come as a welcome move to shut down detractors, the makers revealed that Ajith has completed dubbing for his portions in an Azerbaijan dubbing studio.
Suresh Chandraa, from Ajith’s PR team, shared an image of the superstar and director Magizh in a dubbing studio in Baku along with the announcement. With Ajith’s commitment to his racing career keeping him in Europe, the makers would have opted for dubbing in Baku to avoid any untoward delays considering the film is set for a release in a month.
Backed by Lyca Productions, Vidaamuyarchi is said to be the adaptation of the 1997 English film, Breakdown. Vidaamuyarchi reunites Ajith with his Mankatha co-stars Trisha and Arjun. Apart from these actors, the film also stars Arav, Regina Cassandra, Nikhil Nair and Dasarathi in pivotal roles. The recent teaser featuring the principal characters set the right tone for the film, which is expected to be a gritty thriller just like Magizh’s previous movies, Meaghamann, Thadaiyara Thakka, and Thadam.
