Deepika Padukone who is riding high on the success of Happy New Year has bagged another prestigious project. Padukone will be seen in the Hindi remake of The Fault In Our Stars. For the first time she will be paired opposite Varun Dhawan. Homi Adajania will direct the Hindi adaptation of the superhit Hollywood film while Fox Star Studios is partnering with Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films after Finding Fanny. TFIOS is a story about two youngsters who are terminally ill and fall deeply in love, taking them on an extraordinary journey. The casual approach and humour in the story will be depicted in an unconventional manner. Made on a production budget of $12 million, the original movie grossed over $300 million worldwide and is still counting. Shooting of the Hindi film starts in 2015.
