Telugu film director Shekhar Kammula has signed Nayanthara to reprise the role of Vidya Bagchi essayed by Vidya Balan in Kahaani.
The director who makes his Tamil film debut with this remake titled Anaamika has started shooting for the film which will also be made in Telugu. Produced by Endemol India,Logline Productions Pvt.
Ltd and Select Media Holdings,the team is currently shooting at Mehboob Chowk in Hyderabad.
Vaibhav Reddy will play the role of the cop Saarthi in the film. Anaamika is slated to release in October this year.
