Late Odia singer Humane Sagar’s last Instagram post goes viral; fans says, ‘Thanks for making our college days memorable’

Late Odia singer Humane Sagar passed away on November 17 at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. He was among the most prominent voices in the Odia music industry, and the news of his death left many fans in shock. After his demise, his last Instagram post — which shows him crooning the track “Bhagya Rekha” inside a radio studio — has gine viral.

The song, uploaded on November 7 and described as an “Odia Romantic Marriage Song,” features Humane singing alongside singer Amrita Nayak. It is composed by Situ Rath and penned by Sangram Jeet. Since his demise, many fans have shared the video while expressing their condolences. Many commented on the post writing “RIP.” Another fan wrote, “Thanks For Making Our College Days Memorable, Will Miss You Voice 😭.” Another fan noted, “The last song sang by human Sagar.”

According to a report in The Times of India, Humane Sagar was admitted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar on October 14 after reportedly arriving at the emergency department in a critical state. Doctors immediately shifted him to the ICU and conducted several investigations. The report states that despite medical care, the singer’s condition deteriorated.

The singer succumbed to multi-organ dysfunction syndrome on November 17. AIIMS Bhubaneswar later released an official bulletin detailing the severe ailments he was battling, including bilateral pneumonia, acute on chronic liver failure (ACLF), dilated cardiomyopathy, severe respiratory failure, kidney injury, coagulopathy, and thrombocytopenia.
