In a series of shocking developments, Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa’s manager, Sridhar, was found dead by suicide at the actor’s farmhouse in Bengaluru. The incident, reported by a popular daily, has added another layer of complexity to the ongoing investigation into the murder of Renukaswamy, in which Darshan and his associates have been arrested.
Sridhar left behind a suicide note and a video message, both indicating that he took his life due to overwhelming loneliness. In his final messages, Sridhar pleaded with the authorities not to involve his family in the investigation surrounding his death. The police are now exploring possible connections between Sridhar’s suicide and the Renukaswamy murder case, which has already seen significant scrutiny.
It has to be noted that Sridhar’s predecessor, Mallikarjun, reportedly disappeared in 2018 after allegedly embezzling Rs 2 crore from Darshan. This historical context adds to the intrigue and a lot of speculations about the Kannada star.
Meanwhile the investigation into the murder of Renukaswamy, the 33-year-old victim, is ongoing. The pharmacist was allegedly murdered by Darshan and his accomplices in the actor’s shed. The postmortem report has revealed the deceased sustained 15 grievous injuries to his head, abdomen, and chest. The brutality of the crime has shocked many.
