King of Kotha promo introduces key characters of the Dulquer Salmaan starrer, watch video

The makers of Dulquer Salmaan’s King of Kotha on Friday unveiled a promo introducing key characters of the much-awaited Malayalam film. They also shared that the teaser of the Abhilash Joshiy directorial will be out on June 28.

The latest promo introduced the characters inhabiting the gangster film. Shabeer Kallarakkal, known for playing Dancing Rose in Sarpatta Parambarai, is playing the role of Kannan. Prassana will be seen as Shul Haasan. Aishwarya Lekshmi, meanwhile, plays the role of Tara. The film also features Nyla Usha as Manju, Chemban Vinod as Ranjith, Gokul Suresh as Tony, Shammi Thilakan as Ravi, Shanthi Krishna as Malathi, Vada Chennai Saran as Jinu, and Anikha Surendran as Rithu.

King of Kotha is touted as the most ambitious project of Dulquer Salmaan. In an interaction with fans on Twitter, he also called the film the most physically-demanding project in his career. When a fan asked, “How many times have you injured yourself while shooting for King Of Kotha?” the actor replied, “Haha good one! Let’s just say this is the most physically challenging film I’ve done in a long time.”

King of Kotha marks the directorial debut of ace filmmaker Joshiy’s son Abhilash Joshiy .The music of the movie is composed by Shaan Rahman and Jakes Bejoy.

Produced by Zee Studios and Wayfarer Films, the film is expected to hit theatres for Onam.
