While The Shape of Water took home the Best Picture Oscar, Darkest Hour star Gary Oldman and Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri star Frances McDormand won the Best Actor and Best Actress Oscar, respectively. The Shape of Water won four Academy Awards at the 90th Oscars followed by Dunkirk that won three awards. The Academy Awards ceremony was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles with Jimmy Kimmel hosting the event. The night witnessed some powerful performances by the nominees of Best Original Song. Keala Settle even received a standing ovation as she performed “This is Me”.
