Lily-Rose Depp, daughter of actors Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, says she was in no mood to follow the footsteps of her parents, until she started working.
The 17-year-old “Dancer” actress said she never thought of becoming an actress, reported Femalefirst.
“I mean, I never really thought I wanted to be an actress until I actually started working. So when that opportunity presented itself I was just like… I realized that’s what really makes me happy and that’s what makes me feel comfortable and everything.
“I just love losing myself in a character, I think it’s the most liberating job in the world,” Lily-Rose said.
The actress said her parents are very supportive of her career choice.
“I’m very independent and my parents support me in whatever I do…I don’t think they would really be in the right position to warn me against the industry,” she said.
