Concept art for Avengers: Doomsday has just been leaked, giving fans a sneak peek into one of Marvel’s most anticipated projects in recent times. Marvel announced Robert Downey Jr. is going to return to the MCU as Dr. Doom at Comic Con, sending fans into a spin. The audience has been waiting for updates since that announcement, but much to Marvel’s dismay, this update did not come on their own accord.
Marvel Illustrator Mushk Rizvi apparently uploaded concept art on ArtStation by mistake. While the images were quickly taken down, it was not before fans got a glimpse of what all might unfold in the film. A user on X posted the concept art.

The first image shows Starlord and White Vision having a few drinks and watching television together. Two other images show Wakanda and a glimpse of the Black Panther and an entire village filled with hulks. The fourth and the most talked about image is one where Dr.Doom is sitting on a throne surrounded by court members. Sue Storm seems to be standing beside him, while Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) is bound in chains.
Another leak showcases the Young Avengers in a restaurant.
The images open up a lot of possibilities and give rise to a lot of speculations, especially for avid comic book readers. While all the leaks have been ‘nuked’, fans have ensured that the concept art goes viral.
Among all the projects which are in the pipeline for Marvel Studios, Avengers: Doomsday is under the biggest spotlight. Well this extra attention is not without merit, the movie is bringing two essential things to the screen, one of the most prolific villains in comic book history, Dr Doom, and Marvel’s first MCU hero, Robert Downey Jr, in a very different light.
Avengers: Doomsday will be releasing in 2026, while Avengers: Secret Wars will be coming out in 2027.
