War of words continues between Shah Rukh and Salman

Superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan never fail to grab eye-balls.

Superstars Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan never fail to grab eye-balls. Be it their films or potshots at each other.

At a recent party, hosted by business tycoon Mukesh Ambani to celebrate Sachin Tendulkar’s 100th century,Salman said,”Nobody can touch Sachin’s record. Don ko pakad na mushkil hee nahi, namumkin hai. (It’s impossible to catch the don)”,borrowing the famous line from Amitabh Bachchan’s classic “Don” that was reprised by Shah Rukh.

Apparently, taking it personally,Shah Rukh said,”I am happy I wasn’t there (Ambani’s party) to face those negative stories. I am numb by the kind of stories I read about myself.

I try not to take them seriously and comment about them.”

Shah Rukh and Salman have not been on talking terms for the last few years.

When asked about his take on Shah Rukh’s comment,Salman said,”I think the comments were good… My father (co-written the original ‘Don’) did not take objection on me using the dialogues.”
