Swayze missed werewolf movie role

Patrick Swayze missed a chance of becoming werewolf on big screen.

The actor, who died of pancreatic cancer on September 14,was approached to star in ‘First Howl’ as a movie executive suspected of murder, when he was diagnosed with the disease.

Scriptwriter Clint Morris admits that Swayze was the perfect choice for the role of Dennis Camrock – and he loved the part,as reported.

In a post on his MovieHole.net website,Morris writes,”I couldn’t think of anyone more perfect for the role – and as the film was written as somewhat of a love-letter to the 80s,and the product of the era, everyone was in unison… We all agreed it’d be perfect to have Swayze be a part of it.

“It looked good there for a while. We were talking costumes. We were talking drumming up his lines. But then… he got sick. And suddenly Patrick wasn’t taking on any more parts – not immediately anyway. We let it rest,” he added.
