Retrospective of Prakash Jha movies in Fiji this week

A four-day retrospective of Prakash Jha films is being held in Fiji from August 18. Jha will travel to Fiji and present six of his movies.

A four-day retrospective of Prakash Jha films is being held in Fiji from August 18.

Jha will travel to Fiji and present six of his movies which will be screened there.

The festival will open with his latest hit ‘Raajneeti’,one of the highest grossers at the box office this year,a press release issued here on Monday said.

Other movies to be screened are ‘Gangajal’,’Apaharan’,’Mrityudand’,’Parinati’ and ‘Damul’.

‘Raajneeti’ and ‘Damul’ will also be screened at the BollywoodFest at Norway which will be held between September 10-16.

A retrospective of Prakash Jha’s films was held at the Nehru Center in London from June 30-July 2. Among the films shown were ‘Mrityudand’,’Apaharan’,’Gangaajal’ and ‘Raajneeti’.

‘Raajneeti’ was also screened at the first Indian Film Festival of Ireland on June 25. The closing ceremony of the festival was Jha’s ‘Gangaajal’ on June 28.
