His forthcoming film ‘Tezz’ is yet to release but director Priyadarshan is already ready to start his next venture this month. The film in question is ‘Malamaal Weekly 2’,sequel to Priyan’s 2006 hit film ‘Malamaal Weekly’.
While the original one starred actors like Riteish Deshmukh,Paresh Rawal,Om Puri,Rajpal Yadav and Asrani,the sequel will have Nana Patekar and Shreyas Talpade (who replaces Riteish) this time around.
However like the original one,the sequel too will revolve around a bunch of villagers hoping to become rich overnight by buying a lottery ticket.
Priyan hopes to complete shooting ‘Malamaal Weekly 2’ in a start to finish schedule in Wai later this month.
