Pop star and actor Justin Timberlake is reportedly set to be a part of the big screen version of ‘Baywatch’.

Producers of the Paramount motion picture are reportedly keen on the “Social Network” star taking on the role of a disgraced former Olympic swimmer,who tries out for the ‘Baywatch’ team of lifeguards,reported Sun online.

The TV drama series,which follows the lives of a group of fictional Los Angeles County Lifeguards,originally ran on US TV network NBC from 1989 to 1990 and it was syndicated thereafter from 1991 to 2001,changing its name to ‘Baywatch: Hawaii’ from 1999-2001 after a large cast overhaul.
