Now that Simon Cowell has exited ‘American Idol’,it is new judge Jennifer Lopez who is the “mean one” on the superhit reality TV show,says host Ryan Seacrest.
The ‘Waiting For Tonight’ hitmaker is brutally honest with the contestants,just like British music mogul Cowell,who was known for his acerbic comments,reported Sun online.
Meanwhile,her fellow judge ‘Aerosmith’ frontman Steven Tyler is a softie and bursts into tears at every sob story. “Who’s the mean one now that Simon’s gone? Jennifer. She expects a lot. She’s tough,but she gives tough love,” said Seacrest.
“Steven is probably our most emotional judge. We will see tears from Steven as well as laughs,and he’s a prankster too. But they got along very well on the road,” added Seacrest.
Cowell quit ‘American Idol’ to launch his own rival show,the US version of ‘X Factor’.
