Supermodel Gisele Bundchen has been named as the most eco-friendly celebrity at the annual Green Awards.
The 31-year-old Brazilian beauty is currently involved in several environmental campaigns and is a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations’ Environment Program,helping to launch safe water initiatives and anti-foresting movements,reported Contactmusic.
And her good work was celebrated at the Green Awards at the National History Museum in the UK capital last week,when she was honoured as the Best Green International Celebrity.
She beat out competition from fellow eco-aware stars Paul McCartney and Spanish actor Miguel Bose to get the most votes in an online public poll.
