Ashley Benson criticises airbrushing in TV show poster

Ashley Benson is unhappy after her flaws were airbrushed in a promotional picture for 'Pretty Little Liars'.

Actress Ashley Benson has taken aim at TV bosses for airbrushing away her flaws in a promotional picture for her teen drama ‘Pretty Little Liars’.

The blonde appears in the snap alongside her co-stars Lucy Hale,Troian Bellisario and Shay Mitchell, and all four women are pictured sporting red dresses and perfect complexions, reported Ace Showbiz.

However,Benson insists she is not a fan of the heavy airbrushing used in the shot, which has reportedly been released to publicise the upcoming fourth season of the show.

“Saw this floating around… hope it’s not the poster. Our faces in this were from 4 years ago… and we all look ridiculous. Way too much Photoshop. We all have flaws. No one looks like this. It’s not attractive,” Benson said.

“Remember, you are all beautiful. Please don’t ever try to look like the people you see in magazines, because it’s fake. It only causes an unhealthy mind (sic) about how you see yourself. You are perfect the way you are,” she added.
