Yodha trailer: Sidharth Malhotra is a ‘sarfira’ soldier who can do anything to prove his loyalty towards nation

Helmed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, Yodha stars Sidharth Malhotra, Raashi Khanna, Ronit Roy, and Disha Patani in the lead roles. The film will hit theatres on March 15.

Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Raashi Khanna, Ronit Roy, and Disha Patani, is going to be an action-packed thriller, with a generous dollop of patriotism. The film’s trailer was unveiled on a flight on Thursday. Helmed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, the film is produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Shashank Khaitan’s Mentor Disciple Films.

The trailer begins with some exciting shots of Sidharth in action. He is a daredevil Indian army soldier who presses the trigger even before he is told, and when questioned about not following the chain of command, he reasons, ‘Bade bade missions mein aisi choti moti galtiyan hoti rehti hai (In such big missions, small mistakes are common).’ While he serves his nation with due diligence, he is questioned for his loyalty towards his country and is tagged ‘Desh ka dushman’.

The almost three-minute-long trailer showcases his efforts to save the passengers on board an Air India flight. Disha Patani plays the role of an air hostess and Raashi plays Sidharth’s love interest in the movie. Sidharth has donned the Indian army uniform on-screen for the second time. He earlier aced the role of Captain Vikram Batra in his superhit Shershaah.

While sharing the film’s trailer, Karan Johar wrote on social media, “Be seated because it’s time for some unabashed action, thrill & adrenaline as our #Yodha takes over! See you at the big screens!!!✈️”

Yodha was first scheduled to be released on November 11, 2022. The makers postponed the release date multiple times and finally decided to release it on March 15, 2024.

Expressing his excitement about the in-flight trailer launch of Yodha, Sidharth Malhotra said, “Agar teaser itna dhamakedar tha toh trailer toh aur dhamakedar banana hi tha. So, Dharma Productions took to the skies once again for a one-of-a-kind, in-flight trailer launch, which really sets the tone for all the thrills and chills the audience can expect while watching the film. I’ve given my blood and sweat to make this fast-paced action film.”
