Actors Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma recently made their relationship official after staying mum on their dating rumours for months. The couple recently starred together in the Netflix anthology series, Lust Stories 2 in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Sex with the Ex’, for which they got applauded for their sizzling on-screen chemistry.
Despite saying they are in love, some assumed that Vijay and Tamannaah’s relationship is just a publicity stunt for their show. But now, Vijay has again cleared the air about his relationship status with Tamannaah. “I think it’s fairly understood now that we are dating each other,” he told the GQ magazine.
Vijay added that he is ‘madly’ in love with Tamannaah. After playing villainous roles on screen, the actor has entered the romantic phase of his life. He said, “I am happy and madly in love with her. I call this my ‘I’ve ended my villain era and gotten into the romance era’ phase of life.”
The rumours of Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma’s relationship first started when the couple was spotted in Goa at a New Year’s party. Soon after, they were spotted together in Mumbai on many occasions.
Ahead of the release of Lust Stories 2, Tamannaah, in a conversation with Film Companion, opened up about her relationship with Vijay and described him as her “happy place”.
She said that Vijay is “a person who I care about deeply and he’s my happy place”. The actor added, “He is someone I really look up to. He is someone with whom I bonded very very organically. He is someone who came to me with all his guard down. Then, it became very easy for me to put all my guard down.”
Romance bloomed between Vijay and Tamannaah on the sets of Lust Stories 2. Now, the couple often cheer for each other on social media.
