Tired of the same old “celebrity juice”, featuring “nakli conversations, ghisa pita gossip and a thanda host“? Worry not, as two of Bollywood’s most loquacious celebrities, Kajol and Twinkle Khanna, are gearing up to lighten our screens with a “new and improved” celebrity chat show. On Friday, streaming giant Prime Video unveiled the official teaser for its highly anticipated Two Much With Kajol And Twinkle, setting the stage for a talk show like never before.
The 75-second promo video opens with “the Queen of Romance, aka Goddess of Giggles (Kajol), and Mrs Funnybones, aka Savage Host (Twinkle),” taking jabs at existing shows that rely heavily on hackneyed styles and segments. It then reveals that Two Much will be enriched with “awkward sawaalon ki shakti, bharpoor freshness aur taazgi, aur entertainment ke karodon enzymes (the power of awkward questions, freshness and energy, and crores of entertainment enzymes).”
In a hilarious twist, we also see Kajol yelling “Cut!” soon after, asking Twinkle why they were “hard-selling” the show so much. “That’s the show, right? ‘Too much’,” Twinkle points out, hearing which Kajol corrects her that it isn’t “too much” but “two much”. This subsequently leads to a spat between them, with Twinkle claiming that Kajol is “too much,” thus promising that the show would be a hilarious ride that’s “more candid, with no diplomacy and more authentic than rehearsed.”
Will Kajol and Twinkle Khanna give their close friend, filmmaker and producer Karan Johar — also known for Koffee with Karan — a run for his money as talk show hosts? We will have to wait a few more weeks to find out. Two Much with Kajol and Twinkle will premiere on Prime Video on September 25, with a new episode dropping every Thursday.

She was last seen in Sarzameen.
A former actor and the daughter of legendary thespians Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna, Twinkle Khanna is famed as an author and columnist. During her acting career, she appeared in movies like Barsaat, Jaan, Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Baadshah, Jodi No 1 and Love Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega, before calling it quits. She later turned producer and bankrolled her husband Akshay Kumar’s movies like Tees Maar Khan, Thank You, Patiala House, Khiladi 786, and Pad Man. She also produced the Marathi film 72 Miles.
