Triptii Dimri is making waves following her small but impactful performance in the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal. Triptii has also earned the title of the ‘national crush’ of India with fans going gaga over her charming looks in the film. Adding to her accolades, Triptii has now been named the “Most Popular Indian Celebrity” on IMDB, surpassing star kids Suhana Khan and Kushi Kapoor, who made their acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies.

The latest edition of IMDB’s “Popular Indian Celebrities Feature” featured Triptii Dimri at the top of the list, while Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga secured the second spot. Other celebrities like director Zoya Akhtar, Dunki director Rajkumar Hirani, and Yash also found a place on the list.

Triptii’s popularity has soared post the release of Animal. Reports also indicate a staggering increase of two million followers on Triptii’s Instagram account in just a few days. As per India Today, Triptii’s follower count witnessed a remarkable surge of 320 percent in December 2023. Formerly at 6 lakh followers, she now boasts a massive following of 2.7 million.

Triptii began her acting career with the 2017 Sridevi-starrer Mom, and her recent films, Qala and Bulbbul, have garnered critical acclaim. Her performance in these movies has also been widely applauded. Recently, images capturing Triptii Dimri and Vicky Kaushal shooting in Croatia for their upcoming film have surfaced on social media. The pictures show the two actors sharing a romantic moment, with Vicky lifting Triptii in his arms. Reportedly, the pictures are from last year when they shot for their upcoming romantic comedy.
