Sunny Deol wants to remake Betaab with son Karan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara. But can’t

According to a source, “The idea was to recreate the Betaab magic. Sunny even called up Amrita and told her he would like to cast Sara opposite Karan. However, it was not meant to be. Amrita had to turn down the offer as by then, Sara was already under contract with Dharma Productions — she will be making her debut in a film produced by Karan Johar.”

Yes, the gossip states that Sara, who looks like a carbon copy of her mother, is already under contract with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. Though no confirmation has been forthcoming from any of the sources.

Sunny’s son Karan already kicked off his career as an assistant director for Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 and also closely worked with the making of Ghayal Once Again. But it will be interesting to see what doting daddy Sunny will plan next for his son.

In an earlier interview with the indianexpress.com, Sunny on being asked about son Karan’s Bollywood debut, said, “This will definitely happen. But it is too early to talk about my son.” Sunny Deol had also mentioned how sharing screen space with father Dharmendra and Karan will be a beautiful experience.
