Sunita Ahuja is all set to bring more drama and fun in the upcoming episode of reality show Pati Patni Aur Panga. In a previously released promo of the show, Sunita had spoken about her 40-year marriage with Govinda. Now, in a new promo, she playfully revealed how Govinda would flirt with all his co-stars. Pati Patni Aur Panga features Sonali Bendre and Munawar Faruqui as hosts. The promo shows Munawar attempting to dance with Sunita on Govinda’s hit song Biwi No 1. Sunita quickly brushed him off and said, “Main teri Biwi No. 1 thodi hu jo tu mere saath dance kar raha hai! Main Govinda ki Biwi No. 1 hu (I am not your Biwi No. 1 that you are dancing with me, I am Govinda’s Biwi No. 1).”
Speaking further about Govinda, she added, “When I was young, I looked like Sonali Bendre. Chichi (Govinda’s nickname) ne sabke sath flirt kia bus Sonali bach gae (Govinda flirted with everyone, only Sonali was spared).” According to ETimes, during the show, Isha Malviya asked Sunita to rate Govinda. Calling him a classic late-latif who often missed calls, Sunita gave him a 7 for responsibility. However, when asked to rate him on loyalty, she mischievously gave her husband a 6, leaving the jodis in splits. Contestants teased that Sunita never lies, which only added to the laughter.
Speaking to the website about her experience on the show, Sunita said, “Being on ‘Pati Patni Aur Panga’ was like taking a beautiful walk down memory lane, filled with nostalgia and laughter. I loved dancing to Govinda’s songs again, sharing the stage with Sonali, and enjoying the playful energy of so many lovely jodis.”
Recalling Govinda and Sonali’s bond, she said, “In fact, Govinda gave Sonali her first big break in Aag, and he would often say that when I was younger, I reminded him of Sonali. It was truly special to relive those moments, share a few untold truths, and celebrate the Govinda-style entertainment that has always been such a big part of my life.”
Earlier, reports of Govinda and Sunita heading for divorce were swirling around. However, they refuted all such claims by posing together for the paparazzi during Ganesh Chaturthi festival.
While speaking to media, Sunita had said, “Aaj itna close, close… agar kuch hota toh hum itne nazdeek hotey? Humaari dooriyan hoti! Koi hum dono ko alag nahi kar sakta hain, chahe upar se koi aa jaaye bhagwan aa jaaye, koi shaitaan aa jaaye. Koi nahi alag kar sakta hai (If something had happened between us, would we be so close today? There would have been distance between us. No one can separate us, not even if God or a devil comes down).”
