Sunil Dutt slapped Sanjay Dutt when he revealed his acting ambition; Sanju ranks himself 15 out of 10 as a husband

After a grand entry, the actors settled onto the couch. Kapil then asked Sanjay Dutt, “When you said you wanted to be an actor, how did your father react?” To which Sanjay, without missing a beat, replied, “A slap!”—leaving everyone in splits.

As the conversation unfolded, Suniel Shetty recalled a memorable incident from their time together in Hyderabad. “At the Taj in Hyderabad, he broke my room door. The door literally came down. I wondered what happened,” Suniel shared. In his defence, Sanjay joked, “It was love.” To which Suniel laughed and quipped, “No one wants this much love.”

Kapil then turned the topic towards their personal lives, asking Sanjay, “As a husband, how many points would you give yourself out of ten?” Sanjay confidently answered, “15 out of 10.”

When the same question was posed to Suniel, he humbly replied, “Maybe a seven or eight.” Archana Puran Singh disagreed, insisting, “No, you are a perfect ten.”

“See, jab career ke peak mein hotey hai na, kaam hum itna karte hai, ki we miss out. Ek husband ko, ek mard ko, kaam karna padta hai and he is not able to give that much time to the family. Main time ko bohot ahmiyat deta hoon. Aapko time ki ahmiyat bhi tab samajh mein aata hai jab aapki beti ki shaadi ho jaati hai. Jaise abhi main grandfather bana hoon toh, when I see Athiya as a mother, mujhe yeh mehsoos hota hai ki yaar Mana (his wife) ne kitna kiya hoga, jab ki main kaam kar raha tha!” Hearing this, Sanjay Dutt joins in, revising his earlier claim of being “15 on 10” as a husband, and instead gives himself a 7 on 10, leaving the audience in splits.

The fun continued as Suniel explained how Sanjay addresses him as “Anna” in different ways depending on the situation. Sanjay then demonstrated how he calls Suniel when warning him, when he is sad, and even during a washroom emergency—leaving the audience in fits of laughter.

Kapil later touched upon Suniel Shetty’s entrepreneurial ventures. “Anna, you own restaurants—bars and restaurants. But Sanju sir came up with something unique. Bar and Gym,” Kapil said. Suniel jokingly added, “And he would do it again and again. He would hit the bar day or night, again and again.”

The teaser also showed an audience member stealing the spotlight when he revealed he had brought both his wife and girlfriend to the show. The shocking confession stunned everyone on stage. Sanjay immediately got up from his seat and asked, “How did you pull this off? Teach us too.”

The laughter-filled episode featuring Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty will stream on Netflix this Saturday at 8 pm.
