Manoj Bajpayee will soon be seen on our screens again with his upcoming OTT release, the ZEE5 film Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai. The makers on Monday shared the trailer of the movie which gave us a glimpse of what one can expect from the courtroom drama.

The short clip sees lead star Manoj as an advocate who is fighting on the side of a rape survivor. Manoj seems passionate as the lone lawyer who vows to bring a self-proclaimed god-man to disgrace after he is accused of behaving inappropriately with a minor.

The clip sees parallel to the crimes of many god-men in the country who have been accused and convicted in such cases, one of them being Asaram Bapu, who is currently serving a life sentence after being convicted in multiple rape cases.

The trailer of Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai was shared with a description that read, “Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, An ordinary lawyer is out to fight an extraordinary case! But can he win against a powerful godman accused of assaulting a minor and deliver justice to the victim? Find out in Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, A ZEE5 Original Film inspired by true events. Premieres 23rd May 2023.”

Helmed by Apoorv Singh Karki and penned by Deepak Kingrani, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai will release on ZEE on May 23 this year. Bajpayee was last seen in the Disney Plus Hotstar film Gulmohar alongside veteran star Sharmila Tagore. Besides Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai, Manoj also has Despatch and Joram in the pipeline.
