While his Singham Again gears up for its release, Ranveer Singh was spotted at the Mumbai airport, heading somewhere.

Bollywood star Ranveer Singh is all set to make a grand comeback to the big screen after a 15-month gap with the actioner Singham Again, helmed by Rohit Shetty. What makes the movie even more special for him is that his wife, Deepika Padukone, also plays a key role in it. While Ranveer reprises his role as ACP Sangram “Simmba” Bhalerao from Rohit’s Cop Universe, Deepika takes on the part of SP Shakti Shetty, the latest addition to the franchise’s growing ensemble.

As the movie gears up for its worldwide release, Ranveer was spotted at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai on Tuesday. Though he attempted to remain incognito with a hat, shades and a face mask, passersby quickly recognised him while airport officials conducted security checks on his documents. In a video that has since gone viral on social media, Ranveer is seen patiently waiting at the airport entrance as officers verify his papers.

Recently, Ranveer, along with actors Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur, had attended an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) match in Abu Dhabi. He was also present at the birthday celebration of Radhika Merchant, wife of Anant Ambani, on October 16. Notably, Singham Again marks Ranveer and Deepika’s first film since welcoming their baby girl on September 8. Though the couple, who tied the knot in 2018, shared the news on Instagram, they have yet to reveal their child’s name. While Ranveer’s last appearance was in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (2023), Deepika’s most recent film was Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD (2024).

The fifth instalment in the Cop Universe and a direct sequel to Singham Returns (2014), Rohit’s Singham Again also stars Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor and Jackie Shroff. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will make a cameo appearance as Chulbul Pandey, his iconic character from the Dabangg series. Singham Again is set to hit the screens on November 1, Friday.
