Shraddha Kapoor, father Shakti Kapoor buy luxury apartment worth Rs 6.24 cr in Mumbai

Bollywood’s beloved father-daughter duo, Shraddha Kapoor and Shakti Kapoor, have recently made a notable real estate investment in Mumbai. The Kapoors have purchased a lavish apartment for Rs 6.24 crore in the prestigious Piramal Mahalaxmi South Tower. This property offers stunning views of the racecourse and the sea.

According to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey, the transaction was finalized on January 13, 2025. The apartment spans a carpet area of 1,042.73 sq ft and features two balconies. The per-square-foot price of the apartment is Rs 59,875, and the seller of the property is Glyder Buildcon Realtors Private Limited.

This isn’t the first time Shraddha Kapoor has made headlines for her real estate choices. In December last year, reports revealed that Shraddha had rented a luxurious apartment in Mumbai’s upscale Juhu area. The rent for the apartment is Rs 6 lakh per month, and it spans approximately 3,929 sq ft on the third floor of a high-end residential tower. Shraddha signed a 12-month lease and, as per reports, has paid the rent for the entire duration upfront. Her parents, Shakti Kapoor and Shivangi Kolhapure, also reside in Juhu, making it a convenient choice for the actor.

Interestingly, Shraddha Kapoor isn’t the only Bollywood star to invest in Mumbai’s real estate market recently. Varun Dhawan and his wife, Natasha Dalal, reportedly started the year with a major purchase in Juhu. The couple bought a luxury apartment worth Rs 44.52 crore located on the seventh floor of an under-construction building. The per-square-foot price of the property is reportedly over Rs 87,000, further highlighting the premium nature of the purchase.
