The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2 is nearing its finale with just four more episodes left to stream. The fourth last episode of the Netflix comedy show will feature veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha along with his wife Poonam Sinha, daughter and actor Sonakshi Sinha and his son-in-law Zaheer Iqbal. Just days before the episode’s streaming, the makers of the show shared a teaser, giving a glimpse of all the fun set to unfold on the comedy show.
The teaser starts with Sonakshi Sinha claiming, “If you want to get married, come on Kapil Sharma’s show and address him as Bhaiya.” She then introduced her husband Zaheer Iqbal to Kapil Sharma and said, “Bhaiya meet my saiyaa”, leaving the audience in splits.
The next frame introduces Shatrughan Sinha with his iconic dialogue, “Khamosh”. The actor then can be heard sharing an anecdote. He said, “Dharmendra once told me, ‘Look pal, you are a part of the film industry, many girls are crazy about you. Always be a one-woman man at a time.” Zaheer quickly quips, “I thought it was a family episode. What’s happening?”
Soon Archana asks Poonam, “Has Shatruji ever apologised to you after an argument?” Poonam says, “You think he will ever apologise? Oh my God! That will be the day.” Shatrughan Sinha jokes, “I feel like crying.”
When Kapil asks Poonam, “How will you score Shatrughan Sinha for being patient?”, Shatrughan Sinha guesses, “100”. However, Poonam gives him a “2”.
Shatrughan jokes, “Kapil, I have been tolerating her for so many years, is this not being patient?” The actor then says, “Mujh jaisa Bhola Bhala, mujh jaisa shareef aadmi… (Such an innocent and decent man like me…)”, Poonam quickly interrupts him and says, “Ask me?”
This will be Sonakshi Sinha’s first appearance on the show post marriage. She had also attended The Great Indian Kapil Show’s first season with her Heeramandi cast. The latest episode of the show will stream on Netflix on Saturday.
