That Shahid Kapoor is no longer one of the most eligible bachelors of the country is a fact confirmed by himself at a recently held award evening, yet the mystery over the schedule and venue still prevails.
The high profile wedding, which was earlier rumoured to be happening in the month of December, is now said to have a second date as an option that the family might consider too.
According to a report published in Mid-Day.com, a source close to Shahid Kapoor’s family says June 10 is a tentative date, adding, “They are still contemplating over the dates and June 10 is just an option. Nothing has been finalised so far. But it’s true that the preparations for the wedding are in full swing.”

Earlier this month, Shahid Kapoor was quoted saying that he was indeed getting married by the end of the year and that he was a “regular guy” and his would-be-wife is a “regular girl”.
Reportedly, Shahid Kapoor met Delhi-based college girl Mira Rajput through a philosophical organisation Radha Soami Satsang, of which Shahid’s father, Pankaj Kapur is a follower. The couple will tie the knot in the presence of family members and a few close friends. A grand reception is also being planned for his friends and colleagues from the industry.
