Superstar Shah Rukh Khan once again charmed the audience and the who’s who of Bollywood with his trademark wit, humour, and killer dance moves as he took on the role of host at IIFA 2024, held in Abu Dhabi on Saturday night. Photos and videos from the star-studded evening have since flooded social media, capturing King Khan’s grand entrance and his signature pose, which has become an iconic moment in itself. The night was made even more unforgettable as SRK shared the stage with co-host Vicky Kaushal, with the duo dancing to chart-topping hits like “Jhoome Jo Pathaan,” “Tauba Tauba,” and more.
The event kicked off with a bang as the Badshah of Bollywood made a magical entrance. As Shah Rukh struck his signature pose, a massive crown lit up the screen behind him, a visual representation of his undisputed reign in the industry.
One of the night’s standout moments came when Shah Rukh Khan, Vicky Kaushal, and Karan Johar danced to “Jhoome Jo Pathaan” from the blockbuster Pathaan, bringing the house down with their energy and camaraderie.
Shah Rukh and Vicky had the audience in stitches when they recreated the steps to Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s hit track “Oo Antava,” creating an instant viral moment. The duo also set the stage ablaze as they danced to SRK’s classic track “Mere Mehboob Mere Sanam” from Duplicate, which was recently recreated in Vicky Kaushal’s film Bad Newz.
As always, Shah Rukh Khan’s impeccable comic timing stole the show. While performing the hook step of “Tauba Tauba,” he hilariously paused, admitting he couldn’t quite mastered the move. Vicky Kaushal, however, kept going, even playfully overshadowing King Khan in the process. This spontaneous moment quickly went viral.
