Priyanka Chopra reveals what advice she’d give Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu for Indian version of Citadel

At an event of the show here, Priyanka was asked if she has any advice to offer Varun and Samantha, to which the actor replied that the duo is extremely talented and don’t need any tips.

“I don’t think I can give them any advice. They’re such accomplished actors in their own ways. There’s nothing I can say. I met Varun recently at the NMACC event and he was telling me how the shoot is going, how excited he is. There are some really cool threads that connect the other installments with our installment, so we were talking about those.

“You’ll find out when you start watching the show how we are all connected to each other. But it’s really fun and I can’t wait to see that. Raj and DK are so amazing, so talented and they’ll bring their own spin to the Indian installment. So I’m very excited,” she said.

The show features Priyanka Chopra as an elite spy Nadia Sinh opposite Game of Thrones star Richard Madden, who stars as Mason Kane in the globe-trotting series. At the event, she was joined by Richard who also complimented Varun and Samantha.

“The Indian version of our show has such wonderful, talented cast. Each one is going to be different to the country it ends (in). That’s what is going to be beautiful, everyone’s finding their version. I hope they also have lot of fun doing it,” he added.

The upcoming Prime Video series Citadel is an ambitious spy drama, slated to debut on April 28. It is produced by the Russo Brothers’ (filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo) AGBO and showrunner David Weil.

Citadel will act as the flagship show that will blend with local shows already under production in India and Italy, starring Matilda De Angelis, Varun Dhawan, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu, respectively.
