Priyanka Chopra shares heartfelt note on Father’s Day, thanks Nick Jonas and father-in-law Paul: ‘Malti Marie and I are so lucky’

On Father's Day, Priyanka Chopra said she and daughter Malti Marie are lucky to have Nick Jonas. She also missed her late father and asked fans to hug their fathers if they can.

On the happy occasion of Father’s Day, Priyanka Chopra got all emotional as she wrote a heartfelt note for Nick, his father and how she misses her late father. She shared a photo of daughter Malti Marie spending some quality time with her father and grandfather, and another photo of her parents. In her note, the global star penned the qualities of fathers and how they would do anything to keep their kids happy.

“He is your biggest champion.. He’ll be the loudest in the room when you win. His wisdom will be the shoulders you stand on. Your tears will break his heart. He will never show you he’s hurting. His joy is your joy. He is dada or dad or papa or whatever you call them,” she wrote.

Thanking Nick, she added, “I love you @nickjonas thank you for being ours. MM and I are so lucky,” adding a line for Papa Jonas. “Love you @papakjonas you were so special today and everyday.” She ended her post by asking her fans to hug their fathers if they can, and how she misses her papa. “Happy Father’s Day. Give them a hug if you can. Miss you papa,” Priyanka’s post read.

 

Earlier on Sunday, other Bollywood stars also took to social media to wish their fathers or husbands, on their kids’ behalf. Kareena Kapoor Khan shared a selfie with husband Saif Ali Khan and wrote, “To the Coolest of them All…️Happy Father’s Day Gorgeous Man#Hottest DAD…#Everyone Agrees .

Allu Arjun also took to his Instagram handle to wish all the fathers on this special day. The Pushpa: The Rise actor shared a picture with his father and film producer Allu Aravind and wrote, “Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers in world. Spl wishes to the best father in the world.”

Karan Johar remembered his late father Yash Johar and shared a beautiful video showcasing his candid moments with him. The video also had footage of his kids Yash and Roohi and mother Hiroo. “My biggest blessings, my biggest strengths, my biggest critics & my biggest reasons for everything I do Thank you for making me a father Roohi & Yash! Dada loves you very very much..And thank you papa, for being the guiding light. If today I can be even half of the father figure as you, to my kids – I will consider that as my biggest victory.#FathersDay,” he wrote as the caption.
