The much hyped Chopra sisters clash has finally come to an end with the release of Priyanka Chopra’s Zanjeer and Parineeti Chopra’s Shuddh Desi Romance.
Parineeti Chopra’s Shuddh Desi Romance also featuring one-film old Sushant Singh Rajput and newcomer Vaani Kapoor earned about rs 6.45 crore on its first Friday While,the cult remake,Zanjeer featuring Priyanka Chopra and South star Ram Charan Teja has earned a mere rs 3.44 crore.
Film critic Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures of the two films saying:

The two Friday releases,Zanjeer and Shuddh Desi Romance were made on a budget of rs 70 crore and rs 30 crore respectively.
Zanjeer opened to poor reviews while Shuddh Desi Romance got mixed reviews.
The Indian Express critic Shubhra Gupta said the remake of Zanjeer forces you to ask many whys. While she was appreciative of Shuddh Desi Romance.
So,clearly Shuddh Desi Romance is doing better than Zanjeer.
