Newly-wed Kriti Kharbanda makes halwa for her ‘pehli rasoi,’ Pulkit Samrat’s grandmother approves

Kriti Kharbanda, who recently tied the knot with long-time beau and actor Pulkit Samrat, has been sharing glimpses of her life post marriage including rituals she has been following.  After posting visuals from  their ‘griha pravesh’, Kriti took to her Instagram handle to give her fans a peek into ‘chauka chadhana’ ritual also called ‘pehli rasoi.’

On Tuesday, the Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana actress posted a series of photographs on her Instagram Story to share her happiness about making halwa which was “approved by dadi.” Of the three photographs posted, the first one features a delicious bowl of halwa which was captioned, “Meri pehli rasoi.”

Dressed in a red salwar kameez,  Kriti is seen garnishing the halwa while working in the kitchen. In another picture, she is seen hugged and blessed by Pulkit’s grandmother. “Approved by dadi,” she captioned the photo accompanied by a red heart emoji.  Pulkit was impressed by his wife Kriti’s culinary skills and posted the pictures on his handle adding animated heart emojis to them.

Kriti and Pulkit recently shared pictures from the intimate wedding ceremony, held at the ITC Grand Bharat in Manesar, Haryana, where the couple is seen wearing pastel outfits and radiating beautiful smiles. “From the deep blue sky, to the morning dew. Through the low and the high, it’s only you. From the start to the end, in every now and every then, when my heart beats different, it’s got to be you. Constantly, consistently, continually, You (sic),” they wrote on Instagram.
