Neena Gupta says her CA husband makes fun of her for keeping money in FDs: ‘It gives me peace’

Neena Gupta has always been very vocal about her life, choices, and decisions. Recently, while talking to Kareena Kapoor on What Women Want, Neena Gupta maintained the same stance as she spoke about handling her finances. The actress also shared some details about her husband Vivek, who is a CA, and shared how he guides her in making her financial decisions.

Talking about how money is very important for one’s survival, Neena told Kareena, “I have always been very particular about my money. Since childhood, we have been taught that money is not everything, but I have learned that money can buy you everything. It can buy you love also, so it is everything.” Agreeing to her point, Kareena said, “I also tell this to Karisma, and Saif, and would tell my kids also.”

Neena shared that she likes to invest her money in fixed deposits, even though she is often told that it doesn’t give much return. “I need to have my money also. No matter how caring my husband is and he looks after me, but I need my money in the bank as a security. I get FDs done. My husband is a CA so he says that the stupidest thing to do is FD because it fetches the least amount of returns. But it gives me peace, they all make fun of me,” she shared.

Neena Gupta also added, “All my friends and I take financial advice from him. He is a very kind man and will help anybody. Masaba will not move ahead with a business decision without asking him. He has helped her a lot in the past and without asking him she doesn’t make any business decisions.”

On the work front, Neena Gupta has three projects in the pipeline. She will be seen in Metro… In Dino, Pachhattar Ka Chhora, and Hindi Vindi.
