Earlier this week, Aryan Khan unveiled the song Tenu Ki Pata from his upcoming Netflix web series The Ba**ds of Bollywood. The track features vocals by none other than Punjabi music icon Diljit Dosanjh, and in a surprising twist, Aryan himself has lent his voice to the English verse that opens the song.
Fans were thrilled when, just yesterday, Shah Rukh Khan shared a behind-the-scenes video of Aryan and Diljit recording the track together in the studio. The clip captured a candid glimpse into their collaboration, showcasing moments of camaraderie, creativity, and mutual respect. Following the release, Diljit took to social media to express his gratitude and admiration for the Khans. In his heartfelt post, he expressed love to SRK and wished Aryan the very best for his directorial debut.
In his tweet addressed to SRK, Diljit wrote: ‘Sir, much love to you. Aryan is truly wonderful. The first time I met him in the studio, it felt like I was meeting you. What really shocked me was that Aryan not only plays the guitar but also sings exceptionally well. While I was dubbing the song, I noticed that he knew every single note of it. God bless him. RESPECT.'”
Previously, Diljit and Shah Rukh Khan had collaborated on the track “Banda” for the film Dunki. Diljit has consistently expressed his admiration for the superstar, and perhaps it’s that deep respect that brought him on board for this latest collaboration with Aryan as he steps into the world of direction.
Set to premiere globally on Netflix on September 18, The Ba**ds of Bollywood is co-created by Aryan Khan, Bilal Siddiqi, and Manav Chauhan.
