Days after Arjun Kapoor openly spoke about his breakup with Malaika Arora, the actress shared a cryptic post where she hinted at leaving behind toxic people and getting a mentor to deal with things. After the release of Singham Again, the first successful movie of Arjun Kapoor in almost eight years, the actor opened up about many aspects of his life. Among the many things, he also spoke about his breakup with Malaika Arora.
Days after announcing that his relationship with Malaika has ended, Arjun spoke about loneliness and relationships. Post his comments, Malaika Arora shared a cryptic post that highlighted her “November challenge”. She wrote, “No alcohol, 8 hour of sleep, get a mentor, exercise every day, 10,000 steps per day, fast until 10 am daily, avoid processed foods, no food after 8 pm, and remove toxic people.”
This was the actor’s second cryptic post after Arjun Kapoor’s confirmation of their break up in public. Malaika shared her first post after the Singham Again actor revealed he was single at a promotional event for the film. Post his revelation, Malaika took to her Instagram and shared, “Every positive thought is a silent prayer that will change your life. Good morning, have a great day.”
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Arjun Kapoor spoke about feeling lonely and said, “I think today, like I say this, I needed to just take care of myself. Being selfish is looked at slightly in the wrong way, but I guess it’s not selfish. It’s just I was not okay because of other things. It was not the loneliness, or me being alone… it was just a lot that’s happened in my life.”
He added, “It’s very tricky to speak about it (his relationship with Malaika) because I think I’ve got to respect the way things have been. I don’t like to go into details for that reason, but I will never ever crisscross the two things. I think what my issues in the beginning part of my life are not correlated to where I am today.”
The actor also recalled that he was not very keen about doing Singham Again and was going through a very tough phase. He said, “When I signed the film, I was going through the worst phase of my life, personally, professionally, emotionally, mentally, and physically.” He added, “It turned out to be a pretty introspective time for me where I realised less is more for me today going forward.”
Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora were dating each other since 2018. They were open about their relationship, often sharing pictures from their vacations.
