Actor Kartik Aaryan has revealed his favorite scene from his recently released film Satyaprem Ki Katha and said it’s a sequence that he has been receiving “unreal” love for. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, the romantic drama released on June 29 to good reviews and audiences’ word of mouth.

Co-starring Kiara Advani, the sequence in question follows a heartbroken and angry Sattu (Kartik), confronting the ex-boyfriend of Katha (played by Kiara). The powerful scene is aided by music composer Manan Bhardwaj’s “Aaj Ke Baad” track, as Sattu beats the ex boyfriend, accused of raping Katha.

The actor shared a video of a fan on his Instagram page, who had lauded the scene and Kartik’s performance in it, saying it made him “literally cry”. The actor captioned the video, “The love for this particular moment i keep getting is unreal. Thank you so much plus its My Fav too 🤍.”

The film, backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, has minted over Rs 100 crore at the worldwide box office. Satyaprem Ki Katha will enjoy a free run at the box office as far as Hindi films are concerned, with the next big film being Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, fronted by Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. But before that, Satyaprem Ki Katha needs to withstand three Hollywood biggies, Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part One, Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
