Karan Johar says fillers, makeup, botox and plastic surgeries doesn’t bring fulfilment: ‘Fitrat nahi badalti’

Karan Johar took to his Instagram handle and penned a savage note on how cosmetic procedures doesn't change the true nature of a person.

Filmmaker Karan Johar woke up on Monday morning with a determination to drop some reality checks, sparing no one with his sharp words. He took a jab at those opting for fillers and surgeries, saying that despite undergoing so many procedures, there’s still a lack of true fulfillment.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Karan wrote, “Fillers laga lo fulfilment nahin milti…Make up laga lo umar hai ghat thi. Karlo jitna bhi Botox, lagoge jaise madhumakkhi ne kaat liya… Naak badalne se gandh itar nahi banti. Going under the knife se exterior badal bhi jaaye… Lekin meri jaan…Fitrat nahi badalti (Putting fillers doesn’t bring fulfillment. Applying makeup reduces age. No matter how much Botox you do, you’ll look like a bee has stung you. Changing the nose doesn’t change the bad smell. Going under the knife will only change your exterior and not your nature).”

A few days ago, Karan Johar had penned a similar note reflecting on his relationship status. The director wrote, “Ek saathi ke bina hojaye guzara, AC ka temperature nahi badlegi hamara. Nahi milegi mohobbat, na sahi. Separate bathroom ka compromise hoga hi nahi. Monogamy ka demand ghanta hoga poora. Zindagi aur options Kahan milte hain dobaara. Ab toh single status ko karlo celebrate. Anniversary se behtar hai ‘another date.’”

On the work front, Karan Johar last helmed the film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. Starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, the movie was a blockbuster.
