Yerars ago, the Bachchan family’s Holi celebrations were an event in Bollywood. Though the festivities are now limited to just the family, pictures from the party were shared online. Last evening, Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan seemingly had an intimate Holika Dahan celebration at their Mumbai home. The couple’s daughter, Shweta Bachchan Nanda, and granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda shared some inside photos on social media.
In the photos, the veteran couple stood in their garden with some staff in the background. Big B was seen lovingly gazing at Jaya as he held her on the side. The two were dressed casually. Navya also shared a picture of the bonfire of the Holika puja. Shweta shared her post with a fire and a full moon emoji. Many fans and celebs have been sharing their reactions by dropping red heart emojis.

Big B shared a post on his blog last night. He shared two photos and wrote, “होलिका दहन की अनेक अनेक शुभकामनाएँ 🙏… (Many many happy wishes for Holika Dahan)…and the full moon , also described as the ‘blood moon’ for some strange reason , which I do not know .. but a striking site as the ‘holika’ burns and the bright full moon in the distant background ..may good fortune be with all in the brightest colours of life ..I pray ..🙏 And for all the Ef and wellwishers that have sent their messages to me for the festive day .. my gratitude and immense love ..it shall be difficult to reply to all, so I send the responses here ..”
(And along with that wishing you a Happy Holi, I would like to take your leave. And I wish that your life is full of colours.)
