Hrithik Roshan unveils new poster of Fighter, netizens say actor ‘looks like Tom Cruise’

Fans expressed excitement about the announcement and one of them wrote, “Mann!! looks like Tom Cruise here.” Another fan commented, “Even boys are hyperventilating looking at this picture.”

When Fighter was announced, many said the film could be India’s equivalent of Top Gun. The excitement surrounding the movie is palpable, and it’s expected to bring a fresh story to the audience.

In an old interview, Hrithik Roshan had spilled some beans about his Fighter character Shamsher Pathania aka Patty. He had said, “It’s very interesting as Patty, in many ways, in maturity, and age-wise too, is a little younger than me or how Kabir is. Kabir is more evolved and composed. Patty is young, spontaneous and angry, angry at things that maybe I would not personally be angry at. So, Patty is an interesting space for me because I remember me being like that at some point in my life.”

Talking about the shooting experience, Hrithik had said, “We shot for about 12 days inside the Sukhois and with the Sukhois. It has been incredible and it’s been so inspiring just to be around the Indian Air Force. I learnt so much, the body language, the decorum, the discipline, what they are up against every single day.”

Fighter’s release date is set for January 25, 2024 on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day. The film is helmed by Siddharth Anand and presented by Viacom18 Studios in collaboration with Marflix Pictures. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor in the lead role.
