A new promo of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon’s upcoming release, Ganpath: A Hero Is Born, was released on Wednesday. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on October 20, and advance ticket sales have begun.
Just like the previously released trailer and teasers of the film, the new promo also focuses on the well-choreographed action sequences, which have been directed by Hollywood action stunt director, Tim Man, known for his work in films like Legacy Of Lies, Triple Threat and Accident Man.
Ganapath is set in 2070 in a dystopian world where Tiger Shroff’s character Ganpath emerges as a saviour, and is introduced as the ‘chosen one’. The new promo focuses mostly on action. At one moment, we also see him getting into a fistfight with Kriti Sanon, who plays his ladylove in the movie, against the picturesque landscape. In the trailer, the two were seen singing and dancing on a romantic number.
The makers have shot most of the action sequences in the locales of Ladakh. Speaking about the same, film’s director Vikas Bahl told ANI, “While there have been a lot of films that have shot action in Ladakh before, we got really lucky as we shot on a completely new terrain. It was an abandoned town above Lamayuru where most sequences were shot. So yes, the weather conditions were unfriendly and erratic, with constant dips in oxygen levels. But Tiger, Kriti, and Rehman sir really practiced hard on days off as well as in between action scenes, in spite of the challenging weather conditions and low oxygen levels. Our base was far from the actual shoot locations, but the entire crew was very supportive and hands-on, as it was not easy shifting equipment, costumes, props, etc. from one terrain to another.”
Ganpath, also starring Amitabh Bachchan is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh, and Vikas Bahl. It will release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
