Actor Karan Deol, son of Gadar 2 star Sunny Deol, wished his grandmother Prakash Kaur on her birthday with a special photograph on social media. He posted a picture of Prakash Kaur and his grandfather Dharmendra together. Dharmendra, who is now married to actor and politician Hema Malini, was earlier married to Prakash Kaur, with whom he has two actor-sons, Sunny and Bobby, and two daughters, Ajeeta and Vijeta.

Karan posted a picture of his grandparents looking happily at the camera, and wrote in the caption, “Happy birthday bade mami. love you loads!” Karan’s uncle Bobby dropped heart emoticons in the comments section.

Sunny, who is enjoying the success of Gadar 2, wished his mother on social media with a heartwarming picture. In the photograph, the actor is giving Prakash Kaur a bear hug. He wrote in the caption, “Mama happy birthday love you.”

His brother Bobby Deol posted a family picture that also included wife Tanya, Sunny and his wife Pooja. He wrote in the caption, “Love you Maa!! Happy Birthday.”

Earlier, Dharmendra and Prakash Kaur had also attended the screening of Gadar 2 but arrived separately. On the other hand, Hema Malini recently spoke about sharing a warm bond with Sunny and Bobby Deol. She said that her daughters Esha and Ahana meet their half-brothers every year on Raksha Bandhan, and contrary to popular belief, there is no coldness between the two families.

Hema, in an interview with News 18, also praised Sunny’s performance in Gadar 2. She said, “People love Sunny a lot. They wanted him. I also used to tell him you have to do the best one now. Karna padega (You’ll have to). (He would say) Haan haan, main karunga (Yes yes, I will do it). He’s very sweet. And he did this picture and I am so thrilled about it. He has got so much of appreciation, so much publicity, very nice. Each and every scene was so good.”
